Somebody better start saving NOW!

Someone out there better be saving, winning the lottery, robbing a bank...whatever! since based on the amount of stinkin' work going on here this piece will probably end up being right around $17,000, give or take a dollar or two. Foolishly, i decided it would be best to strip this first - usually i just furiously sand (vents a lot of frustrations) but this seemed to need more than a ferociously agressive sanding. i have decided this piece has been around since the prehistoric age and each woman who has owned it has had very different ideas about home decor. i have found red, green, blue, yellow, black, teal, cream - need i go on? so although it will be stunning when i am finished, i just wanted to give everyone a heads up that based on labor alone, it will be something you will want to display in a glass case/plastic bubble type scenario and scream "don't touch that!" whenever anyone goes near it. should be a piece that brings love and happy feelings to your home. so start saving!!!!!! and watch for it to be finished soon!
